DESCRIPTION
The management role is a complex one, which is mostly learned in the field. As a leader, you have learned from the models you have had, your preferences, and perhaps theoretical foundations. But if you’re like most managers, you don’t necessarily have a management background.
The “Manage and Lead” training provides clarity to every manager who takes it. Participants understand why they adopt this or that leadership style and define what to adjust in order to be the leader they want to be: a manager who has a positive impact and who knows how to adapt to today’s realities: multiple generations, remote work, labour shortages.
In this training you will learn the history of management through a multi-generational example, the skills by management level and how to respond to common management challenges. We will emphasize the execution of your role on a daily basis.
The “Managing and Leading with Agility” training includes a reflection on leadership styles and beliefs about the management role.
You will leave with clarity on the expectations of today’s manager, what to adapt and develop as a leader in order to be efficient and benevolent.
GOALS
- Understand the expectations of leaders according to the 3 levels of management.
- Evaluate yourself according to the model of the 9 pillars of Unique coaching including interpersonal skills, know-how and know-how.
- Be able to act positively in the face of current management challenges.
- Target the elements of a motivating action plan for your management development.
- Define the relevant time to spend in management, operations, leadership and strategy according to your level of management and your context.
Pedagogical approach and format
All of our training courses are held in person or virtually. The “Manage and Lead” training includes a pre-workshop video preparation to learn the concepts and a workshop to experiment and share.
