And then, you may be afraid that the other person will be surprised and tell you<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: &#8220;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Why did you wait to tell me about it? <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00bb<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Then<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> if you still don&#8217;t say anything, the discomfort will continue to grow<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">latent conflict may begin to <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">show its nose<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Your relationship will be af<\/span>fected by this unsaid.<span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>This is what I call fish climbing.<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5446 aligncenter\" width=\"313\" height=\"171\"><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Depending on your personality<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> this process<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> of escal<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ad<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e of situation-pattern-relationship<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">will be of a different duration for each<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">days, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">weeks, months, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">years before a conflict <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">erupts or impatience<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> emerges. <\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5><span data-contrast=\"auto\">No matter<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> how long it<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">lasted, it could have been avoided.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span demonstrate that you need to<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">have a difficult conversation, the 3-step method, and scripted examples.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The 3 signs that show you need to have a difficult data-contrast=\"auto\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" lang=\"FR-CA\" xml:lang=\"FR-CA\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"heading 4\">1.  <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" lang=\"FR-CA\" xml:lang=\"FR-CA\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"heading 4\">Determine the problem<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW70659446 BCX0\" Does she have a hard time saying no? Your intention<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Like what<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Finding a solution, helping the person, understanding a situation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, being more satisfied in one&#8217;s work.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This part is <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">essential<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Because it will allow you to bring the conversation back<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to your intention<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> if it gets out of hand.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Example<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: the person is getting defensive? <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Go back to your intention<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span> right away<span data-contrast=\"auto\">: not to find the culprit, but to find a solution.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Intention makes cropping easier.  <\/span><\/i><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">B. <span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Facts<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rumours have no place.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Prepare <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">facts<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: I have asked 3 times, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2 customer complaints on the same subject in the last 1 month, etc.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If you don&#8217;t have any facts, think twice before starting<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a difficult conversation with someone. <\/span> <span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If you are &#8220;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">certain<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rumors<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> , the fact could be<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I&#8217;ve heard this rumor 4 times, I want to validate it.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>C. The Issues  <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Show curiosity. A difficult conversation is   <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">an exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">You don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on with the other person. You have   <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Maybe<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> an idea<\/span><\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> stay curious, it will be <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">an advantage to better connect with your <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">interlocutor<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and arrive at your intention.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233279\":true,\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":720,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Once prepared<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, go to the person to tell them that you want to talk to them about something important. Don&#8217;t do this on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon   <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">?<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Don&#8217;t start the conversation in a hallway. Finding the right time, the right place. And no, it is not done by email.  <\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\"> In person. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Visually, it&#8217;s even better<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559685\":708,\"335559731\":2,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" lang=\"FR-CA\" xml:lang=\"FR-CA\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70659446 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"heading 4\">3. Follow up<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">You didn&#8217;t make<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> all these efforts for nothing&#8230;!<\/span><\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  Follow up, demonstrate the importance. If the situation has been resolved, say so!
