That is to say, to develop or adjust certain behaviors. For example, to improve your professional positioning, you will potentially need to have more courage or improve your communication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When it comes to making the changes that are important to you, I offer you three steps <strong>to make lasting behavioural changes.<!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">1- <strong>Decide<\/strong> what behavior to change.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What do you aspire to? And to get there, what behaviour do you need to change or adapt?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Make sure that the change you want to make comes from you, that you really want it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In other words, that it is not dictated by your external environment (another person, a convention, etc.).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">2- <strong>Take action<\/strong> step by step and <strong>act <\/strong>immediately as if the change was made<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Example #1:<\/span> &#8220;I want to change jobs and I want to be braver.&#8221; Take stock of what drives you, talk to someone you trust, add people to your network who can help or answer questions, get information on the market, update your resume, go for it!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Take action, one step at a time, now and bring this new reality to life! Don&#8217;t wait until you have the perfect plan! <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Example #2:<\/span> &#8220;I want to get promoted and I want to improve my tolerance towards a strategic colleague.&#8221; Already act with tolerance with your colleague. Stop all negative behavior towards this person right away. If you lose patience at any point, talk to yourself and tell yourself that this was the old you and now you&#8217;re tolerant.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Live what you are aiming for!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It may be difficult at first, even unsettling, not to feel &#8220;yourself&#8221;, but it is necessary to <em>reprogram<\/em> yourself. And don&#8217;t forget to breathe&#8230;.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">3- Be <strong>patient<\/strong> and <strong>forgiving<\/strong> of yourself<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Persevere. If you go back to your &#8220;past&#8221; behavior, be aware of it and start acting the way you would like to do again.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Be kind to yourself, change takes time and willpower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The change you are making will lead you to one or more of your aspirations. Don&#8217;t give up! Congratulate yourself on your efforts!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The results of these steps<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What can you expect? Your first concrete result will be to feel good about taking action and adopting the behavior you really want.
